Bruting
is the first stage in shaping the rough. The bruter shapes
the rough diamond into a circular outline by removing the
misformed edges from the stone. This is one of the most
important phases of diamond processing. A large number of
persons is engaged in bruting operations in the Indian
Diamond Industry. At the end of the programme, each student
is expected to acquire good skills in bruting of makeable/sawn
diamonds. |
